And now as I said, concerning faith –
faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things;
therefore if ye have faith
ye hope for things which are not seen,
which are true.

I, Sis. Moffitt, having been called by my church leaders, and having seen many afflictions in the course of my days, nevertheless, having been highly favored of the Lord in all my days; yea, having had a great knowledge of the goodness of God, therefore I make a record of the proceedings of our seminary class. . .
Behold, I Sis. Moffitt, will attempt to show unto you that the tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance. . .
For the fulness of mine intent is that I may persuade this seminary class to come unto the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and be saved. . .
For we will learn of Christ, rejoice in Christ, and preach of Christ that our class may know to what source we may look for a remission of our sins.
